Hi Y'all!

I can't believe we're already into the holidays, but we've got an amazing lineup of winter shows for y'all to come see us-- scroll down for the full list.

My goal for this month's print release was to carve out one last mini-print before the end of the year, because I know how much y'all like gifting them. Read on to read about (and pre-order) my new little Bloodroot print!

Bloodroot is one of our most beloved native wildflowers, and for good reason. When the fresh, pure white flowers unfurl in my woods each year, they look like tiny water lilies, and it's pure magic. There never seems to be a speck on dirt on them-- which is crazy because I can't seem to dig a hole in my yard without getting red clay all over myself :). My wild bloodroot colony is creeping into my gravel driveway, and when that happens, I transplant those volunteers into my flowerbed. Each time I move one, those bright red roots remind me of how the plant got its name.

For this piece, I experimented with white ink on this velvety black cotton paper. It was such a learning curve! I experimented with different inking techniques, papers, and pressures on the press for HOURS before finally coming out with a piece that looked like the vision in my head. At the end of the night, I had 20 clean prints.

I'm making these little wildlflower prints available to my newsletter subcribers before I bring them to shows or post them on my website. "Vintage Christmas" Set of 3 pattern notecards

$12- You may notice a few changes with our very popular notecard sets. I'm working to make this product as sustainable as possible, which means hiring a commercial printshop with machinery that can use sustainably inks and 100% PCW cardstock. Some patterns have been switched over, while others are still being printed in-house. Each set of 3 will contains cards and envelopes that match the others within the set.

Open Studio 2025 was our biggest turnout yet. Thank you so much to everyone who came! One thing that was special this about this year was that my kids were finally old enough to take on leadership roles during this event-- helping check customers out and teaching simple printmaking techniques.

Both my family and my client community are super important parts of my life, and it was great seeing those two groups (usually separate when I'm off working shows) come together and get to know each other. I'm so grateful for it all!
