Hi Y'all,

July has come to a close, I can't believe it went by so fast! I only worked one event this past month--The Festival for the Eno-- and was honored to receive their award for BEST IN SHOW! This recognition meant a lot to me, since the conservation mission of their organization is so aligned with my own values.

Most of my month was spent outside the studio-- getting some time with my awesome family, but I did however have time to carve up a new mini print for y'all. Red Spotted Purples are some of my favorite backyard butterflies-- read on to see the new print and details on how to pre-order.

What's New: Red Spotted Purple Butterfly

My print release this month features our native red spotted purple butterfly-- a bright blue backyard visitor to many of us. For the botanical elements of this design, I chose a black cherry tree-- an important larval host plant for this butterfly, and many other pollinators as well. I normally like to pull prints on white paper, but I just loved the "naturalist" feel that this piece had on a tan background. I have 15 of these prints in stock.

I'm giving my email subscribers the first chance to preorder these butterfly prints before I post them to my website on 7/5/24. I'll be reserving prints in the order that folks email me, so let me know if you want to snag one!

In the Studio: What's Coming Next

Red Wolf:

I'm working on a large piece featuring the critically endangered Red Wolf. Stay tuned for more info on this project!

Eco Stationery:

I've been working to expand my line of Eco Stationery beyond gift wrap and notecards, to include other products such as journals. It's important to find a partner whose values align with my own, so I've been meeting with potential print and bindery partners. It's very exciting and I'm hoping to have some products to share with y'all this fall/winter!
