First of all, I want to give a big thanks to everyone who came out to see me as part of the OCAG open studio tour. It was so
meaningful for me to show you where and how I create my work. I saw old friends, met amazing new customers, and showed tons of people how I pull my prints. Speaking of pulling prints, I actually pulled this month's print release-- A native
orchid called a Pink Lady's Slipper-- live for the first time in front of visitors to my studio! I was a little nervous to see how this would go, but it was actually super magical to share the experience of seeing a print come to life for the first time with other folks. What's New: "Pink Lady's Slipper" |
Earlier this year, I carved a Yellow Lady's Slipper mini-print, and ever since then, I've been getting requests to do a pink one in the same Art Nouveau style. These native orchids have always been special to me, and so I was happy to oblige. I'm giving my email subscribers the first chance to buy this little wildflower before I make it available for sale to the general public (on Saturday, Nov 19th.) I've really enjoyed focusing on Pollinators in my work this year, and I've seen this piece resonate with

I love seeing the personal connections that folks feel towards these large, beautiful, North American birds. Price is $109. I'm gearing up for the busiest time of year, and my studio is
about to have some serious Santa's workshop vibes. But honestly, I've got the biggest smile on my face going into it. It makes me feel so good to be part of your holiday gifts to your loved ones, and I'm feeling better than ever about my skills as a printmaker, and a business owner.
