Can you tell I've missed y'all?

Market Season is officially here! It's been so good to get back to festivals and interact with customers again. I've got a full dance card this spring, so be sure to check in the events section for where to find me. Â
Â
As our yards start to green up, I've been thinking a lot about our local farmers, who are starting their new growing seasons too. I've also been feeling super proud of my amazing big sister Kelly, who just took the helm of the Durham NC non-profit, Farmer
Foodshare.  So, this month, I'll be donating 10% of my profits to their spring fundraising campaign, to support family-scale farmers and fight nutrient insecurity in our community.Â
Â
I've got a new print to share with you, and several other updates. Â I hope you love seeing what I've been up to this month!

What's New: "Monarch and Viceroy"
The second print in my pollinator series is complete-- and y'all this is the most time intensive piece I've ever made. I had to use ALL of my printmaking skills in order to have
it come together. The background colors alone took 15 individual pieces. (See picture below.) I used gradients, I used registration tabs, and I used puzzle piece techniques extensively. The end result is so lovely though, that I know I'll keep coming back to this block. Â Between the Art Nouveau inspiration, the two different native pollinators, and the regional wildflowers, I'm hooked. :)Â
The print is called "Monarch and Viceroy," and it highlights the way in which the harmless Viceroy mimics the poisonous Monarch for protection. Â Can you spot the difference between these two native pollinators?
Â
I'm giving my email subscribers the first chance to buy this print before I make it available for sale to the general public (on Monday, March 21st.) I'll be reserving prints in the order that folks email me, and I only have 14 of these in stock, so  click here if you want one! :)
*Â Limited Edition of 70 Prints. Cost: $165, artwork size:12x18 (print includes custom acid free matboard, and the final size with matboard included is 18x24.)

Coming Soon: Eco Gift WrapÂ
Psst! Want to hear about something big I'm working on?! I'm developing a line of place-based Eco-Gift Wrap, that will be ethically manufactured and super environmentally
friendly. I hope to have my first designs ready by early summer, but in the meantime, I want to hear from you! Click here to help me out by voting for your favorite coordinate pattern for the back of this (reversible) giftwrap.
Thank you! I am so lucky to be able to make art for a living, and without y'all it wouldn't be possible. I appreciate you!
