You may have noticed that I often create pieces inspired by wetlands. They help filter water, and they also foster incredible biodiversity. That's why, for each block print you buy today, I'll donate $5 to the Triangle Land Conservancy. I chose TLC, specifically because of their Upper Neuse Clean Water Initiative.
To sweeten the offer, I'm also offering pre-orders of a brand new wetland inspired print, featuring a great blue heron and painted turtle amidst southern blue flag iris and pickerel weeds. All pre-orders made today will also count towards my TLC donation total.

What's New: "The Heron Takes Flight"
Yesterday I pulled the first prints of this carved block and I'm loving how it turned out. "The Heron Takes Flight" is a continuation of my popular heron series, but I've mixed it up with the addition of painted turtles and southern blue flag
irises. The color work on the wings was especially tricky, but they turned out so showy! I'm giving my email subscribers the first chance to buy this Heron before I make it available for sale to the general public (on Thursday, December 2nd.) Dec 23-Jan 2nd- Studio Closed. I'm setting some time aside to travel and see family, and enjoy Christmas with my husband and kids. I'll be back in the studio (refreshed!) Jan 3rd.

The free shipping and local pickup options I instituted last month are working out well, so I'm going to continue that at least through December 15th. Hopefully this will help shield y'all against increased shipping costs. As the holiday's get closer, I'm anticipating mail slow
downs, so if you do live locally and are able to come see me at in person events, that would be helpful. If you can't make it to an event, but want to schedule a shopping appointment, email me and we'll set something up!
